Keith Rocco won three features last Sunday at the Waterford Speedbowl
The pomp of gate opening Saturday’s and Blastoff weekends in the rearview, the time has come to get down to business at the Waterford Speedbowl.
It’s officially the regular season at the shoreline oval.
Two weeks behind schedule, the Speedbowl got through its Budweiser Blastoff “opener” swimmingly last weekend.
Fans were greeted with beautiful weather and big car counts across the paddock and some dramatic action from Saturday to Sunday.
This weekend the regular season gets rolling in earnest with the second weekly Saturday night show of the season.

Schedule: 35- lap NASCAR All-American Series SK Modified, 30-lap Late Model, 25-lap Street Stock, 25-lap Mini Stock, 25-lap SK Light Modified and 25-lap Legends. Grandstands open: 3 p.m.; Qualifying: 4:30 p.m.; Features: 7 p.m.
More: The third event of the season at the shoreline oval. After Blastoff Weekend was postponed from its original date, the track went ahead with it’s scheduled Saturday night weekly opener on April 5 before running its two-day Blastoff event last weekend. …. Reigning division champion Keith Rocco won Sunday’s 64-lap NASCAR All-American Series SK Modified feature. Ed Puleo won the season opening SK Modified event on April 5 with Rocco finishing second that evening. … Rocco, also the defending champion in the track’s Late Model division has won both Late Model events run thus far this season. Rocco was also victorious in the 100-lap Modified Racing Series season opening event held Sunday at Waterford. … Puleo and Josh Galvin have Street Stock division victories this year. … Ian Brew and Doug Curry have visited victory lane in the Mini Stocks this year. … For more information check the Waterford Speedbowl website.
