New London-Waterford Speedbowl general manager Shawn Monahan doesn’t expect to announce an official schedule for the track for anther week or, but the pieces are coming together clearly.
The Valenti Modified Racing Series announced through their Facebook page on Monday that the series will make two stops at the shoreline oval in 2015.
The series announced an event as part of what is expected to be a season opening night at the Speedbowl on May 2.
They will also run at the track on Aug. 8, expected to the traditional Wings and Wheels show at the facility.
The events at Waterford are part of a 16-event Valenti Modified Racing Series schedule that opens April 18 at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. and closes Oct. 17 at Thompson Speedway.

What will be the finale race then? The SK 150?
I thought Claremont added a July 10th show?
I hope if they add an SK 150 at seasons end it is a non points open show so any outsiders can’t come in and possibly change the outcome of the points race.
