LOUDON, N.H. – Getting to know New England tracks has been very fruitful the last eight days for K&N Pro Series East driver Tyler Ankrum.

Last week the San Bernardino, Calif. native won in his first trip ever to Thompson Speedway.

Saturday the K&N Pro Series East rookie made it a perfect New England July swing in his first look at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Ankrum rolled to a dominating victory in the K&N Pro Series East United Site Services 70 Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

It was Ankrum’s third victory in nine career K&N Pro Series starts, all coming this year.

Ankrum led every lap of the event.

“I’m not really too sure, honestly,” said Ankrum when asked about his domination. “I guess it just kind of happened. The guys gave me a really fast race car.”

Ankrum led second place Harrison Burton by 2.387 seconds at the checkered flag.

“We had a lot of time by ourselves out there trying to find that fast line,” Ankrum said. “Burton certainly put the pressure on. He raced me really hard and really clean, so hats off to him.”

Ridgefield native Anthony Alfredo was third.
