Stafford Motor Speedway management announced Thursday that two title sponsors of major events at the track, Lincoln Tech and TSI Harley-Davidson, will return for the 2014 season.
Lincoln Tech of East Windsor will return as the title sponsor of the Valenti Modified Racing Series event on July 18 at Stafford. It marks the fourth consecutive year that Lincoln Tech has sponsored the series at Stafford and their school’s fifth year of involvement with the track as a marketing partner.
“We’re very pleased to be back again this season with Stafford Motor Speedway,” Rob Wargo, Eastern Connecticut High School Admissions Reps for Lincoln Tech said in a release. “Throughout the years, we’ve been very impressed with the hospitality we receive from the track and we’re looking forward to another great season together. Sponsoring this race at Stafford has been a great marketing campaign for us. Last season we were able to enroll several students as a direct result of our race sponsorship and we’ve enrolled several students each season as a result of us being involved with Stafford.”
As has become tradition since Lincoln Tech began sponsoring an event, the winner of the Valenti Modified Racing Series event on July 18 will be presented with a custom airbrushed car hood as a trophy.
TSI Harley-Davidson returns to sponsor the May 23 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Stafford for the seventh consecutive year. TSI Harley-Davidson has been a marketing partner with the track for 10 years.
“We’re looking forward to another great year at Stafford,” Harry Levesque, Owner of TSI Harley-Davidson said. “Stafford Speedway has been and continues to be a great place for us to be able to reach out to our target audience and it has been a great place for us to be able to showcase our line of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Last year we were able to debut our jumpstart, which allows riders to get on a bike and actually give it some throttle and go through the gears. A lot of Stafford race fans are also Harley-Davidson fans, and we have a lot of fun being able to interact with the fans on race night.”
Tickets for all events are available online at the Stafford Motor Speedway website, and fans can also arrange for 2014 season ticket packages online or by calling the track. Stafford’s early purchase discount for season ticket packages – including general admission, reserved seat, season paddock pass, and Kids Club season packages – will end on March 14.
The paddock pass is priced at $449.00 if purchased before March 14, and increases to $499.00 if purchased after March 14. Season Paddock Passes can be upgraded to include a reserved seat in the main grandstand for an additional charge of $50.00.
Stafford’s Reserved Seat Season Pass offers a season long seat in the top row (Row 25) or the Gold Chair-Back section of the main grandstand, and is priced at $379.00 if purchased before March 14. After March 14, the Reserved Seat Season Pass will increase to $409.00.
Stafford’s General Admission Seat Season Pass grants season long admission to the general admission seating in the main grandstand, and is priced at $329.00 if purchased before March 14. After March 14, the General Admission Season Pass will increase to $359.00.
For all children up to age 14, there is the Stafford Motor Speedway Kids Club option. Children can join the SMS Kids Club for $70.00 before March 14. After March 14, the price will increase to $75.00. Membership in the SMS Kids Club offers admission to all 2014 SMS racing events, a free SMS Kids Club tee-shirt, access to SMS Kids Club only meetings with SMS NASCAR drivers, and much more. Kids Club Applications can be picked up at the SMS track office, or on the web by clicking on the Kids Club logo found at at the Stafford Speedway website. Children must be accompanied by an adult to gain entrance to the track.
