STAFFORD – With the showers that helped close out the schedule on Saturday long behind, Stafford Motor Speedway breathed to life Sunday morning in preparation for NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler Sunday.
By 10 a.m. tracks crews were working feverishly on the front stretch working to get cars into place for the NAPA Pit Party.
The showcase event on the schedule Sunday is the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Spring Sizzler 200, the second event of the season for the Modified Tour.
In his fourth career start in the division, rookie Tommy Barrett Jr. will take the field to green after winning his first series pole.
Also on the schedule for Sunday is a 40-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature, a 30-lap Late Model feature and the 25-lap Northeast Mini Stock Tour.
