For the second consecutive week the only winner at Stafford Motor Speedway on Friday will be Mother Nature.
With most forecasts calling for a 100 percent of rain Friday evening, Stafford Motor Speedway officials called off tonight’s scheduled racing card early.
The three extra distance events that were scheduled for Friday evening have been moved to the May 30 card at the track.
Those events included the Xtra Mart Xtra D 60-lap Late Model feature, which had originally been scheduled for May 9, the 22-lap RHWay Going The Extra Mile SK Light Modified event and the 20-lap Xtra Mart Xtra D DARE Stock event.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour rolls into Stafford May 23 for the running of the TSI Harley-Davidson 125.
