A forecast calling for weather issues through the evening forced Stafford Motor Speedway officials to make the decision cancel Friday’s racing card at the track.
It marks the first rain out of the young season at Stafford Speedway.
It means fans will get a pair of Xtra Mart Xtra D events along with a special RH2Way sponsored event on the Friday May 16 schedule.
The Late Model division had been scheduled to have its Xtra Mart Xtra D 60-lap feature Friday.
That event will now be run as part of the May 16 card at Stafford, which also had already included the Xtra Mart Xtra D 20-lap DARE Stock feature, which will remain part of the racing card for next Friday at Stafford. Also scheduled for Friday May 16 is the special RH2Way “Going The Extra Mile” Extra Distance SK Light Modified feature, which will be a 22-lap race for the division.
