Modified heats hit the track at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H. Sunday

LEE, N.H. – The top-20 positions for the Bullring Bash 100 Modified Open show at Lee USA Speedway were set through four heat races Saturday afternoon.

Tommy Barrett Jr., of Millis, Mass., went by Jim Storace and easily cruised to the victory in the first heat race.

Anthony Nocella of Woburn, Mass. was second Todd Ceravolo of Gales Ferry was third.

Todd Annarummo of Swansea, Mass. went virtually unchallenged in winning the second heat race.

Chris Pasteryak of Lisbon was second Richard Savary of Canton, Mass. third.

Fourteen year old Matt Swanson of Acton, Mass. ran away with the third heat race.

Justin Bonsigore of Holtsville, N.Y. was second and Jon McKennedy of Chelmsford, Mass. third.

Matt Galko of Meriden rolled to victory in the fourth and final heat race. Jeff Rocco of Wallingford was second and Rowan Pennink of Huntingdon Valley, Pa. was third.

Up to 26 cars will start the event.

Cars that did not qualifying through the four heats will move to a consolation race with four advancing from there. After that there will be a Dash for Cash for all remaining cars that will give the winner of the event the option of taking the 25th starting spot or $1,000. There is also a promoter’s choice provisional for the 26th starting spot.
