Joey Ferrigno Wins Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners “Cleaned Up” Award For August

Monk Cleaned Up Award 286

In 2014 Joey Ferrigno has been cleaning up on the track at Stafford Motor Speedway and off the track when it comes to grabbing awards.

The East Hartford driver has five SK Light Modified features victories at Stafford this year and has also won the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award in the week following each of his feature victories.

That domination of award voting continued this week in a new realm.

After winning three of the five SK Light Modified events at Stafford, Ferrigno can add a new award to the resume.

Ferrigno was the top vote getter this week for the Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners “Cleaned Up Award for August at RaceDayCT.

Ferrigno garnered 54 percent of the 209 votes cast for the award. Tommy Barrett Jr. was second in the voting of the five drivers nominated, with 23 percent of the votes.

During the 2014 racing season, the driver that cleans up on the racetrack locally each month will be making sure they stay clean after that thanks to Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners. Christopher will get a case of Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners courtesy of Monk. Check out the voting for the Cleaned Up Award below.
