The racing life and times of legendary Modified driver Ed Flemke Sr. is the focus of a recently introduced website.
Edflemke.com, listed as “A Website About Steady Eddie Flemke” is a compilation of all things surrounding then racing exploits of the Modified racing great.
“The purpose of this website is to create as complete as practicable an historical resource and record of Ed Flemke,” reads the front page of the site.
— Rowan Pennink will have a new look NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour team in 2015 according to a report from Yankee Racer.
Pennink will be driving a Chassis Dynamics car on the Modified Tour, with the team to be headquartered out of the Hitchcock racing shop with Jimmy Fuller as the crew chief.
“We’re going to be running the tour with a kind of new team deal,” Pennink told Yankee Racer. “It will be a little bit different than last year. … It’s been awhile since anyone reputable has been in a CD car and really put a good effort into it. So with a couple of new chassis builders being out there, we’re going to try something a little different here, and give it a shot. I think it’s going to be pretty good.”
