Tom Fox To Serve As Series Director For Tri-Track Open Modified Series In 2015

Year two of the Tri-Track Open Modified Racing Series will see the arrival of an experienced racer and competition administrator overseeing the action.

Tom Fox, Stafford Motor Speedway director of racing operations and competition, confirmed to RaceDayCT on Saturday that he will serve as the series director for the Tri-Track Open Modified Series in 2015.

The Tri-Track Series debuted in 2014 with events at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H., Star Speedway in Epping, N.H. and Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway.

This year the series will run events at Lee (May 17), Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. (June 13) and Seekonk (July 1).

Fox was a longtime competitor across the short tracks of the Northeast before hanging up the helmet to become an official. He served as the

Fox served as the racing director at the Waterford Speedwbowl before moving on to become an official at Stafford Speedway. He was named the director of racing operations and competition at Stafford prior to the 2013 season. Fox also serves as racing director for the Northeastern Midget Assocation.
