It really wasn’t long ago that a ticket to Bristol Motor Speedway for a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event was the toughest ticket to get in all of racing.
Bristol events were can’t miss shows, whether in person or on TV.
Clearly times have changed. As seen on TV Sunday, the grandstands at Bristol Motor Speedway were shockingly devoid of fans.
So if you weren’t there, did you even watch? Let us know.

It all changed when they went to concrete and the progressive banking. The progressive banking is killing racing. just keep pushing that football game and that stupid collasas tv will the racing goes to sh t
NASCAR is making the same mistakes that many asphalt short track organizations are making. Pretty hard to right the ship when all you have around you are yes people.
Just keep ignoring what I and many other people have been saying for years.
Bristol were some of the most sought after tickets, and to see all those empty seats was disturbing.
NASCAR racing has become a bore. The races are too long in both distance and time. They throw a yellow if a gum wrapper blows onto the track. How about banning yellow flag pit stops?
Agree with Bob,at one time Bristol was the best short track race going , now just follow the leader for the entire race . can’t force myself to watch this anymore…nascar getting to political trying to keep racing a tv sport . Lost my interest ,find other things to do on Sunday….
