Mother Nature is clearly not a fan of Stafford Motor Speedway getting its weekly Friday night racing program started in 2016.
For the second consecutive week, Stafford Motor Speedway has cancelled its scheduled Friday night weekly opener at the track.
A forecast calling for the almost sure possibility of rain throughout most of the evening in Stafford forced track officials to pull the plug on the event.
The XtraMart Xtra D Late Model 50, which has been scheduled for tonigh, has been tentatively rescheduled for Friday May 27th, which also is Military Appreciation Night at the track.
Stafford Speedway returns to action next week with the running of the Valenti Modified Racing Series VMRS 80.
