The Fan Zone, across from the Turn 2 Tunnel, is home to some of the best off-track activities for guests of New Hampshire Motor Speedway this week. Full of freebies, fun and non-stop entertainment, the Fan Zone has gotten even better for 2016 with the addition of the Kids Zone, an area dedicated to the speedway’s youngest race fans and their families.

Located directly across from the Fanatics Merchandise Store, children will have access to a balloon artist, airbrush tattoo artist, life-size Connect 4, an inflatable castle, the Wildlife Encounters animals and much more. The Kids Zone will be open on Friday (noon-5 p.m.), Saturday (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

Kevin Harvick, Jamie McMurray, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will be in the Kids Zone from 3:00-3:30 p.m. on Friday for a Kids Autograph Session. The promotion is limited to the first 100 registrations. Children must be age 12 or under. Those that purchase one adult ticket for Sunday (priced at $50 or more) and an accompanying half-priced youth ticket may register. Please call the Ticket Office at (603) 783-4931 to purchase and claim a voucher for your child to attend the event. Limited spots are still available.

While the Kids Zone is sure to keep the younger guests happy this week, there are certainly plenty of options for everyone else, too. Here’s a look at what’s happening in the Fan Zone this week:

NHMS Tent
Home to the Loudon Ladies, New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s promotions team. Fans may visit and get information from speedway officials, pick up their renewal gifts, and much more.

Coca-Cola Simulators
Fans are encouraged to visit the Coca-Cola area to test their driving skills on one of their arcade-style racing simulators.

Fanatics
Moved from behind the Main Grandstands to the Fan Zone, the Fanatics Merchandise Store is a must-see attraction on race weekend – actually it’s hard to miss it. From hats to T-shirts to diecasts and everything in between, fans can grab all of their favorite driver’s gear.

Great Clips Mobile Salon
Need a super-fast cut on race weekend? This is the spot to be as Great Clips will even color hair in support of fans’ favorite drivers.

Lite Lobster Lounge
True to its name, the lounge features a variety of authentic lobster dishes, along with other sandwich and salad options for the non-lobster eaters. The lounge is open to all and promotes a family-friendly environment. It wouldn’t be complete without products from its sponsor, Miller Coors. The Lounge is free to enter, open to the public and is located just outside the Turn 2 entrance.

SMI Fan Stage
This is the place to be for music, entertainment, Q&A’s from drivers and much more.

Toyota Ferris Wheel
The 65-foot high Ferris wheel will give fans unique views of New Hampshire Motor Speedway and will feature 15 gondolas.

Track Masters Go-Karts
This is the place for fans to get their racing fix on. There is a mini-oval track with free RC car racing for the kids.

Wildlife Encounters
An extension of the Kids Zone, Wildlife Encounters will feature animal shows with non-contact and interactive creatures, including turtles, lizards and porcupines, to name a few.

XFINITY Zone
This entertainment zone includes music, driver appearances, and the opportunity to learn information about drivers outside of the sport of racing.
