Funeral Arrangements For Legendary Racer Ted Christopher

The funeral for legendary short track racer Ted Christopher will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Saint Matthew Church at 120 Church Ave. in Forestville, CT.

A wake for Christopher will be held Monday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home at 48 Broad St. in Plainville, Ct.

    Thank you Ted Christopher for the many years of entertainment. There were simply too many “wow” moments to count. From the Speedbowl days of the late 80’s and early 90’s, I was always amazed at what you could do behind the wheel of a modified. Your legacy will live forever.     It seems like BAD things always happen to GOOD people!!!!!!!!!!!! We pray Quinn and her family will be able to go through this horrible time and have the strength to deal with the most heart wrenching time of their lives.     I remember first seeing Ted I would go with my Dad to Stafford and then with Mike Plaquette who drove the #89 I hated Ted and Mike why I don’t know yet over time I realized what I was seeing and that was a true wheelman.I know Richie&Charlie were waiting at the gates to welcome Ted to the Greatest Track and God is waving the Checker flag for all of them.I Know Mike jr. Will carry the Christopher name to the next chapter.Ted I was honored to see you race. Give em heck up there SIR
