(Press Release from New Hampshire Motor Speedway)
As the summer winds down, New Hampshire Motor Speedway is heating up with jam-packed weekends throughout the month of September. Car clubs, motorcycle racing, drifting and racing experiences are just a few of the events taking over the Speedway, but it’s the inaugural Full Throttle Fall Weekend headlining “The Magic Mile” Sept. 21-22 with NASCAR short track racing.
Full Throttle Fall Weekend is set to become the annual must-see, must-attend short track event in New England. This Saturday tripleheader will include the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship points race, Canada’s NASCAR Pinty’s Series, who will race for the first time in America, and be headlined by the Musket 250, the longest mileage race in the history of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
“This is going to be an unforgettable weekend for short track racers and fans from all over New England,” said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “Full Throttle Fall Weekend is full of unprecedented access for our fans, and we are looking forward to the inaugural event hitting the track and quickly becoming the newest fall family tradition.”
To kick off Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter’s fundraising efforts for Full Throttle Fall Weekend, they’re hosting a Charity Clay Shoot on Sept. 20 at 20th Skeet & Clays in Hooksett. The Red Bucket Brigade will return to the grandstands on Saturday.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway serves as host for many other clubs and events in September including:

The J&J’s Yolk & Co. Oval Series Legends and Bandolero Divisions will race on the 0.25-mile mini oval, which is located between turns 1 and 2 on the NHMS oval, Sept. 8, 15 and 29. The series pulls drivers from across New England, and these competitors are narrowing down their chase for 2018 world championship points to compete at the World Championships at Las Vegas Motor Speedway later this fall.
You can catch the Moat Mountain Road Course Series on the 1.6-mile road course Sept. 8-9 and 29-30, featuring drivers from across New England who compete in monthly doubleheaders that coincide with the Loudon Road Race Series weekends. They offer different levels of instruction that cater to everyone from beginners to intermediate drivers. The Drift Event promises to offer equal track time to all entrants regardless of skill level. The goal is to help all drivers get the time they deserve behind the wheel in a fun, laid back environment. Spectators are welcome – tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the gate.
The NH Karting Association comes to NHMS Sept. 15 and is an affordable opportunity for aspiring racers of all ages. The local series runs most of its races on the specially-designed Reserved RV Karting Course, which includes a portion of the legendary bowl in the NHMS road course.
