Top driver Noah Korner has submitted the first Legends entry for the inaugural Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge, coming to White Mountains Motorsports Park and Thunder Road International Speedbowl this summer.

Korner will drive his familiar #31 Legends entry, sponsored by Midstate Site Development, starting with June 16’s Thunder in the Mountains at WMMP.

“Having Noah join us for the first year of the Bullring Bash makes a huge statement about the quality of racer we’re going to attract,” said Bullring Bash founder Josh Vanada. “Noah is an international Legends champion who is always in the mix for wins, and drivers of his caliber always put on an amazing show. The Korner family has been incredibly supportive of the Bullring Bash concept, with Glenn Korner and Midstate Site Development also coming on as the title sponsor of our Legends class. We can’t wait to see Noah and the rest of our Midstate Site Development Legends field mix it up in some of the most exciting races in New England this summer!”

“Josh has always been very friendly to us, and he always puts on a great show with great management behind it,” said Noah Korner. “That was certainly our biggest interest, and when we saw the prize payouts and tracks we’d be racing at, it was a no-brainer to compete.”

In just a few short years, Korner’s resume in Legends racing is already astonishing. After debuting in the car in 2015, he nearly swept the INEX National Championships just a year later, winning the 2016 Oval title and finishing second in the Road Course standings. Korner has raced across the United States and abroad, making his international Legends debut in Finland in 2017 and winning the inaugural Canadian Legend Car Asphalt Nationals in Ontario last July.

With so much experience competing at so many different tracks, Korner is looking forward to returning to a discipline that he favors. One of the country’s top oval drivers in a Legends car, Korner favors circuits like the quarter mile bullrings at WMMP and Thunder Road.

“White Mountains I’ve been to two previous times,” he added. “The first time I went up there I believe I got third, and this past year when we went, I won the feature. I love those types of tracks: small, high banking, and I’m just really looking forward to having some great competition. Hopefully it brings bigger car counts, more competition, and it’s going to be some fun racing.”

Korner’s program will look much the same as it has in previous years. He’ll drive for his father Glenn, who also owns Bullring Bash Legends class sponsor Midstate Site Development, and will continue to work with crew chief C.J. D’Addario.

“We’re pretty much going back to the same on everything,” Korner said. “What we had going worked. Our crew, between my dad, my brother, and me worked—we meshed, and kept producing a fast racecar. We were always, if not winning, in the top five. We’re just going to keep up that momentum, and hopefully it carries into 2019.”
