The annual Wishes On Wheels Truck Convoy returns for its 20thyear in Connecticut on Sept. 15.
The annual event benefits Make-A-Wish Connecticut with the mission of: “Bringing together families and the trucking industry to raise awareness, hope and spirit for children with life threatening illnesses.”
Wishes on Wheels, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization made up of passionate and hardworking volunteers committed to a shared goal – to organize a family-friendly truck convoy and event to bring together families, friends and community members to support children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Dozens of local Wish Kids look forward to Wishes On Wheels as an annual tradition that simply can’t be missed. Many of the truck drivers volunteer to have Wish Families ride along with them during the Convoy.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. 4 p.m. at Rentschler Field in East Hartford on Sept. 15.

I’ve seen one of these convoys… it went on for miles and miles, with plenty of spectators on the overpasses. Must be a great event. Thanks to all that make it work.
