Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Track Walk & Girls Night Out At Stafford Speedway Friday

(Press release from Stafford Speedway)

This Friday, July 19th, NAPA Auto Parts and Stafford Motor Speedway will present the 6th Annual Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Track Walk.  This is an opportunity for all fans in attendance to get a first-hand and close-up look at the famous half-mile layout at Stafford Speedway by participating in the Track Walk.

Each fan donating $10 for the Track Walk will receive a NAPA tee-shirt or hat.  Participants can access the track through the gate which is located behind Section A of the main grandstand.  The track walk will begin at the conclusion of qualifying heats and prior to the start of feature racing this Friday night.

NAPA will also have several raffle prizes as part of the Track Walk festivities.  All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will be donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in support of military personnel wounded or injured in service to our nation.  Last year’s Track Walk helped raise over $7,000 for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and over the past 5 seasons, over $35,000 has been donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund through the fundraising efforts of NAPA Auto Parts and Stafford Motor Speedway.

“NAPA is once again proud to support our nation’s military and especially our veterans who made it home safely,” said Domenic Greco, General Manager of NAPA Connecticut.  “Over the past five years NAPA has partnered with Stafford Motor Speedway and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to provide an annual donation to this most deserving group that supports veterans who have returned with traumatic brain injuries.  Thanks to the generosity of race fans, NAPA and Stafford Speedway have been able to donate over $35,000 to this fund over the past 5 seasons.  The Track Walk at the Speedway is our signature event which allows anyone to make a small donation and walk the track for our heroes with 100% of all donations going directly to the Intrepid Fallen Hero Fund.  We hope to see everyone at the track this Friday, we thank you for your support, and God Bless America.”

This Friday night is also Girls Night Out with Ladies General Admission Tickets just $10.  All other Adult General Admission Tickets are $20.00.  As always kids age 6-14 are just $5.00 and kids 5 & under are free.  Reserved seating is available and is priced at $23.00 for all ages.  All ticket prices include 10% CT Admission Tax.  Stafford Motor Speedway offers plenty of free parking for auto racing events along with overnight parking available for self contained Recreational Vehicles.

  1. Good for the chicks getting a big discount and all the other folks included in promotions during the year.
Howz bout you throw we guys a bone during the season as well. Nothing big. A few bucks maybe. Don’t want to break the bank. Just something to make us feel special once a year. Maybe a senior night for we geezers.
    Give it a think Stafford.

  2. when did general admission go up to $20?

  3. Steve,
I know we’ve gone over this before, but let’s try again. Nothing against you personally, but your use of this comments section to just constantly needle and criticize Stafford Speedway management just because gets really old. You could pick up the phone and call Stafford Speedway and inquire about their ticket prices or any changes, but you post what you just posted here to simply be a pest. I’m pretty lenient and liberal with what goes on here, but you’re clearly just here to poke Stafford management continually because you don’t like them. Call them, go talk to them, create your own Facebook for your mission. It just gets so old here that you use the comments section just to troll Stafford management.
