THOMPSON – Eddie MacDonald passed Ray Christian III on lap 38 and led the field in his wake on the way to victory in the 50-lap Granite State Pro Stock Series feature at the Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway Saturday.
It marked the second consecutive season that MacDonald, of Rowley, Mass., has won the Granite State Pro Stock Series feature at the World Series.
MacDonald has wins in four touring divisions at Thompson. He also has wins at the track with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, the Pro All-Stars Series and the American-Canadian Tour.
Christian, of Uncasville, was second and Cory Casagrande of Stafford third.
Jonathan Bouvrette won the wreck-marred 75-lap American-Canadian Tour feature.
Woody Pitkat of Stafford was second and Mark Jenison of Warwick, R.I third.
Rich Dubeau of Plainfield, N.H. used an 12th place finish to clinch the 2019 series championship.
Ben Seitz of Monunment Beach, Mass. won the 20-lap Shane Hammond Memorial Northeastern Midget Association feature.
Todd Bertrand of Putnam was second and Avery Stoehr of Lakeville, Mass.
