Denise DuPont, Jim DuPont and Curtis DuPont will oversee our Live Updates coverage from all the Tour Type Modified events in Florida for the next week.
It all starts with tonight’s Fifth Annual Kick Off To Speedweek powered by Sunoco 50-lap Tour Type Modified event at Bronson Speedway in Archer, Fla.
It’s a bloody disaster. The only thing that can make sense of this is the turn out at New Smyrna. If the field disappoints after the glowing registrations it’s a modified problem. If the field comes off as hoped this is a Bronson problem.
“Robie pushed in pits as we smell antifreeze. LaCicero pulls in pits for short stop”
Better not be antifreeze. It’s illegal in most circle track racing.
Blewett with the chrome horn to steal second. Gerstner and the PSR car may be a team to watch at New Smyrna.
A gigantic disaster for the opening of speed week. I don’t think the storms that battered the eastern part of the country Thursday and Friday helped as well. I am sure they disrupted the travel plans for many fans and teams.
