Five consecutive nights of Tour Type division Modified kicked off Monday at the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna, Fla.

    Still waiting on Gerstner to show up. All the talk had him as a potential winner, and that hasn’t been shown yet, in the first race or tonight’s qualifying. Maybe tonight’s race is when it all comes together. I hope so, but wouldn’t bet a dollar on it.
