  1. NASCAR needs to do something to make their program exciting and interesting. They need to
change their outdated formats…..qualifying heats,,,,,,fast cars NOT on the front row….

  2. I have looked forward to this race since it was announced. This is probably the most excited I have been for a Cup series race in years. Bristol dirt is something new, It is something completely different. I think some of the lesser teams might have a shot at a good finish maybe even sneak out a win. Hopefully, it’s a good show, Nascar could use a win.

  3. Must see for me. The dirt is down and they’ve been racing on it. Looks really dusty and dirty to race on dirt go figure. 250 laps is going to spell opportunity for the guys with dirt experience and a nightmare perhaps for those with no experience.. No pretty boy, clean well groomed drivers getting their hats just so after this one just scruffy survivors methinkst.

  4. We also will be watching Saturday night and Sunday. Can’t wait. Very intriguing!
… but it also feels a little like Nascar is saying, “hey! Come watch us do a thing that is (more or less) not like our sport.”
The best analogy I can try to make is if MLB decided to have their teams play one basketball game against each other and have it count in the standings as well.
Not poo-pooing it. At all. It’s way more interesting to me than a race at Michigan or Pocono. Just a thought I’ve had watching all of the prerace hype leading up to this event.
Good luck to Ryan Preece (and of course, to Sticky Ricky too) 🤪

  5. 🌈🦄2020 says

What a disaster of a turkey derby. Doug Coby on social media wasn’t too happy about it.

  6. That was a clunker of a Turkey Derby wasn’t it? 14 cars in the first and 12 in the second and big names staying away in droves Easy money for big money.. What the heck???
