RaceDayCT Daily Poll: Who Will Win The Tri-Track Open Modified Series Event Saturday At Star Speedway?

Earlier this month the Tri-Track Open Modified Series opened its 2021 season with Sam Rameau scoring victory at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. The series heads to the second event of the year Saturday at Star Speedway in Epping, N.H. So who do you think will be victorious at Star? Vote below.

Comments

  1. Fast Eddie says

I voted for Hinkley, as I’ve seen him run second in TriTrack races than any two others. Definitely way WAY overdue! Surprised no one voted for Nocella (my second pick), as he’s had great battles with Hirschman as a couple of events. McKennedy the third pick.

  2. Folks, as you prepare for attending these events, please remember that 80% of the world’s population is still on mandatory travel restrictions and pandemic protocols. Canada is on very strict travel restrictions, even internally. Some regions in Canada are prohibiting travel between towns and communities. Towns in Canada that should be overflowing with tourists right now are looking like abandoned ghost towns, and Canada is telling people to stay away.

The COVID-19 pandemic is far from over, we still need to be careful.

    Here are some statistics:

    USA Statistics

    Deaths: 602,630

1 case for every 10 people. That is *KNOWN* cases.

1 death for every 552 people.

Be careful out there, this is far from over.

The only people being admitted to the hospitals with COVID are the unvaccinated.

  3. Hirschman will probably win, but I’m hoping for Ole’ Blue.

  4. hoping for Hinckley. He deserves to get one of these.

$25 dollar gate early start at 2.30. No Bruins conflict. Giddy up.

  5. Da real – Shut up!! this is a poll not a Covid site

  6. Hinckley my pick, way overdue for a win.

Biden & Harris need to get the message out there to all Americans to get that vaccine. Oh that’s right, Harris no where to be found and Biden to busy with the Middle East.

  7. Earl, didn’t Trump and Jared negotiate a Middle East peace agreement? Oh yeah, that never happened.

The vaccine message is out there, just the remaining 73,000,000 stupid ones left that refuse to get 💉 vaccinated.

    Be safe out there people.

Still want to see Ole’ Blue in VL again.

Hey steve, COVID still has control over you, no matter what you might think. COVID has impacted racing for over a year, and can do so again at any time. The 73,000,000 can screw this up. Don’t be one of the 73,000,000.

  8. Hirschman the favorite of the head, Hinckley the favorite of the heart.
Hinckley TTOMS results at Star from the most recent going back.
    24th DNF, 19, 4th, 11th, 2nd..
In 2018 when he came in 4th the top finishers were Smith, Patnode, 50S, 60, Barrett, Gallup, 25, Galko, Contana, Frees, Dixon, Robie.
One the the most foolish things you can do in this forum is make unequivocal statements. Nonetheless I think Hinkley’s best shot at a win at Star is in the past. The field today is absolutely loaded with great cars not to mention you have to negotiate the draw and heats to avoid being back in the pack and in harms way. I would think his measure of success would be a top 5.
Who’s gonna win? Good luck with that. At the very least there’s at least a 60% chance Hirschman won’t win. Picking not Hirschman also very foolish and yet I do pick not Hirschman to win because the 60 is not in Kansas any more and this ain’t years ago when he was up against just 3 or 4 cars in his class.

  9. Yep, absolutely Trump negotiated the agreement and both sides honored it however, Trump is no longer president. Did you miss the memo? We now have rumblin, bumblin, stumblin Joe as president. It goes to show they did not need his help as the two sides already worked out a cease fire without him 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Pretty scary huh? No respect for your boy there.

Where’s Waldo, better than that, where’s Kamala? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  10. How can you make the comment “I think Hinkley’s best shot at a win at Star is in the past. The field today is absolutely loaded with great cars not to mention you have to negotiate the draw and heats to avoid being back in the pack and in harms way”.

Are you saying that last years field was not “absolutely loaded with great cars”? Kind of a slap in the face to the rest of the competition? Same rules this year as last year, right? He had his best finish on the TTOMS series in 2020, 2nd. And if not for the front bumper (and run) of Lutz, turns 3&4 coming to the checkers he would have won.

I love ya man but please rethink that comment because it makes no logical sense to me. And please don’t throw that “Earl, I know you are a Hinckley guy” at me either. Facts are facts.

  11. I have to tell you Earl I love you as well and appreciate your dissecting my race observations but come on man! What’s the deal with the grade school taunting of Biden and Harris. I get it, you aren’t a fan. I get it, they aren’t doing everything right. All administrations have challenges and are judged on how they handle them. The border mess they will need to get under control by next spring or there will be hell to pay the following fall. We’re in the early innings now. The primary challenge was vaccine, shots in arms, lowering the economic and social threat of Covid19 and so far they have done well on that. None of it would have been possible without the work and investment that was made under the Trump administration when no one even knew if a vaccine was possible.
You may feel justified in using demeaning terms for Biden and Harris because others did it in abundance to Trump and Pence in this forum.. I just thought you were better then that and would stress issues more and less age and cackling.
As for Hinkley we’ll see going forward if I’m on to something. Star seemed to indicate that I’m not wrong so far.

  12. So I’m tuning into WTIC AM and the late morning guy is talking about masks virtually every time I tune in. Resistant before now they aren’t much of an issue so far as things improve but this guy is attacking people and organizations that just decide they feel more comfortable using them. What the heck is that all about? The guy also says men need to be able to shake hands that is wrong on so many levels but that’s the nonsense that goes on every day, in every market in the country on right wing talk radio.
Then in the afternoon they have some guy who’s primary job is to invoke Rush Limbaugh and do every possible thing to keep a guy that’s dead alive in the listeners minds primarily to sell products. Or help mitigate the withdrawal of the Rush Limbaugh fan base. It’s really creepy and bizarre hearing someone take what Limbaugh said in the past and interpret it to fit current issues. After the guy died.
In the background of all this is a Republican Party, roughly two thirds of which still believe the election was rigged. It wasn’t but that makes no difference perception is reality. We can probably survive with 25% of the population having zero faith in the electoral process but if it climbs to about 40% then you can’t have a democracy. You either have faith in elections and democracy or you don’t. At the point a large swath have not faith and will not accept election result then it could very well be a good time to start a discussion on breaking up the country. As opposed to some kind of banana republic revolution.
A simple completely unrelated venting and apologies for the intrusion.

  13. What’s that saying Doug, every dog has its day and a good dog has two.

  14. I have no idea what that means but it makes no difference really. It is what it is and there’s nothing to be done about it.
