  1. Fast Eddie says

I knew Matt had medical issues but had no idea it was something like that. Hope his recovery goes well and we get to hear the “Bucklerisms” at the track once again!

  2. Seriously big guy. Opening with a political shot then moving on?
Buckler and Dodge individually and together are synonomous with local short track racing are they not?
Would it be nice to see them back announcing? The best fit would be Waterford for Buckler in some role. Regarding Stafford, they turned the page last year and it would be nice to see them stay the course. Fell under Dodge’s spell in 1980, now it’s time for younger fans to build loyalties to the new voices of racing they’ll be listening to for the years to come. Honoring tradition at the same time with cameo’s involving Dodge and/or Buckler to the extent they are up to the jobs demands.
Both Dodge and Buckler, NEAR Hall of Famers are supplying their own carrots to reach for in the form of a return to the booth. Just a thought. Referring to the rehab “bust”, aka strong commitment. Best to stress carrots to the rehab “team” and keep the Stafford sausage grinder incentive a priviate goal. Those things are sinfully good but not exactly the first thing you think of when it comes to the proper rehab diet.
What the heck magic does this kid Perry have it’s exhausting following his high level opportunities. Last year the Chile Bowl deal apparently a one and done. Now an ARCA test. The kid is magic. Good thing for the racers in these here parts he’s a new experience junky or he’d be dominating the local racing scene.
