(Press release from the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series)
The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will continue to grow in 2024 with the series expanding to its largest schedule in the division’s 11-year history.
The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will visit seven different tracks as part of an eight-race schedule in 2024. The previous largest schedule for the series was a seven-event slate in 2022.
The 2024 schedule includes first-time visits for the series to Thompson Speedway in Thompson, Connecticut and White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire
The 2024 schedule also includes return visits for the series to Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont, the New London-Waterford Speedbowl in Waterford, Conn., Star Speedway in Epping, N.H., Stafford Speedway in Stafford, Conn. and the return of two events to the schedule at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
“We’re proud to see the series continuing to grow, with an increasing number of events and the addition of new venues to the schedule,” Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series managing partner Ed Bennett said. “We’ve worked hard in cultivating strong relationships with our returning tracks and doing what works best to continue to make events at those tracks special, and we’re looking forward to building on the new relationships we’ve made for 2024. Thompson Speedway and White Mountain Motorsports Park are two places that competitors and fans have wanted to see on our schedule and we are thrilled to be able to make that happen.”
The 2024 season kicks off with a much anticipated inaugural event for the division at one of the most historic venues in Modified racing history. The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will be a headlining event on April 6 as part of the Icebreaker weekend at Thompson Speedway.
In what has quickly become a Memorial Day weekend tradition for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series, the second event of the season will take place on May 26 at the historic Thunder Road International Speedbowl.
One of Modified racing’s crown jewel events takes place on June 26 with the running of Open Wheel Wednesday for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series at Seekonk Speedway.
The fourth event in 2024 will mark the second new venue visit of the season for the series with the division’s inaugural event at White Mountain Motorsports Park on July 27.
The New London-Waterford Speedbowl will play host to the fifth event of the season on Aug. 10. It will mark the third consecutive year the series has visited the shoreline oval in August.
The traditional Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event at Star Speedway will now be part of the track’s historic Star Classic weekend on Sept. 15.
The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series returns to Stafford Speedway for its sixth event of 2024 to headline the track’s 51st NAPA Fall Final weekend on Sept. 28.
After a one-year hiatus from the track, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series’ traditional season ending event – the Haunted Hundred – returns to Seekonk Speedway on Nov. 2. The American-Canadian Tour will also host its season ending event at Seekonk as part of the Haunted Hundred card.

Shawn, I noticed on Tri Track’s website for the 2024 schedule the lap count states 75 laps however, Thompson’s Website for 2024 events states Icebreaker is 100 laps. I commented on Tri Track’s Facebook event asking and got no response. Do you have any insight on the laps they will race?
Great schedule, hoping the car turnout gives us more heats & consis this year! A big thanks to the Tr-Track series and Monaco Ford!
Big fan of more events at Seekonk. My home state better never lose its last short track!
Awesome!
I really missed the haunted 100 at seekonk. Cant wait to go to that one again!
Tyler,
My understanding is that the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event at Thompson will be 75 laps.
AWESOME …. THOMPSON HIGH BANKS & SEEKONK BACK TO 2 RACES… HAUNTED HUNDRED BACK WHERE IT STARTED ALONG WITH THE AMAZING OPEN WHEEL WEDNESDAY LONG RUNNING CLASSIC .. I THINK 8 – 10 Races keeps TRI – Track fresh as a go to Series….
Can someone make a Open Mod Schedule/Calander with all the Tour Types, my head hurts trying to compare all the dates. Thanks
Thompson at 75 laps puts the main event as the longest mileage for the TriTrack events at just under 47 miles, should be really good!

Good bid, thanks!
Wow, awesome job Russ! I wonder how many of us will be printing that out.
What did I miss? Why is Stafford running an open on a Wednesday? July 17.
Thanks Russ. Also on April 13th the Northeast Classic at NHMS. Tour Mods and 604’s among others.
Yes – big thanks to Russ (and Doug for prior years)!
Wow great job Russ, with a schedule like that for all the modified series it’s going to be interesting to see what happens if there’s a couple of rainouts.
Camerissa,
That was announced quite a while ago. There will be a special event at Stafford on July 19-20. Cletus McFarland Show.
Thanks Russ, I really appreciate the tour type mod schedule. I am going to print it out and put it on the bulletin board. Thanks Doug for your efforts in years past. Its appreciated.
The Haunted Hundred back home at Seekonk. It doesnt get any better than that. I made all the haunted hundreds at the Konk and skipped all the traveling haunted hundreds. Wasnt the Stafford Haunted show 80 laps. I excuse that one as Mass was being a little ridiculous with COVID restrictions. Last year at Waterford was wrong though. Anyway, ACT, Tri track, and Street stocks should be a great show. I am a little concerned with it being in Nov. I dont think the North South Shootout is the draw it used to be when it was at Concord but weather can be an issue that time of year and there isnt any room for makeups.
Cleetus Mcfarland show is basically a thrill show with enduro style crown vic races and burn outs. He has a bunch of automotive youtubers racers in them. He has a popular Youtube channel. The Youtube algo actually makes some good recommendations. I found it when he purchased a closed racetrack in Desota FL. He rehabbed it and renamed it the Freedom Factory and now faces suburban sprawl threat. There is something like 1k units of housing being built around the track which also has a pretty active drag strip owned by someone else on an adjoining plot of land. Personally, I am going to try to get down to that show. I feel like the kid deserves some support for saving a racetrack. The excerpts of shows I have seen were entertaining.
Thanks for the schedule list! It helped fill in some of the holes in my own version.
