Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Constantine Paving & Sealing 75 Rescheduled To Oct. 11 At Thompson

The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will go from headlining day of the Icebreaker at Thompson Speedway to headling day one of the Sunoco World Series at Thompson.

Thompson Speedway and Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series officials announced tonight that the Constantine Paving & Sealing 75, which was rained out Saturday, will be made up on Friday Oct. 11 as part of the Sunoco World Series weekend at Thompson.

The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series was making the division’s first appearance ever at Thompson Speedway for what had been scheduled to be their season opening event.

Saturday’s schedule at Thompson was plauged all day with bouts of rain, sleet and even snow at times. Officials made the decision to postpone the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event just after 7 pm Saturday.

“We want to thank Monaco Modified teams and officials for their patience working with the wet weather all afternoon,” Thompson Speedway co-promoter Cris Michaud said.

Said Monaco Modified Director of Series Development Renee Dupuis: “We’d like to thank the Thompson Speedway track crew for driving their tails off to try and dry the track. Once the sun went down, so did our only opportunity to completely dry the track, unfortunately Mother Nature wins this one but it’s also given us a great opportunity to bring the Constantine Paving & Sealing 75 to the World Series.”

Monaco Modified teams are asked to keep their Icebreaker pit passes for their postponed World Series event in October.
