My son’s got stuff going on all weekend but I’ll be bringing my laptop, so I can pop in and out of whatever’s on.

  3. Lisa has a good idea!
Enjoy the weekend everyone, and remember why we celebrate Memorial Day.

Lisa knows how to LIVE !!! LOL … Having attended 1988-90 Indy 500s .. I highly recommend it from a pure Historical Event … It’s more of an Event than a race .. By the end there they are pretty spread out over the 2.5 miles The Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) track, which hosts the Indianapolis 500, is 2.5 miles (4 km) long and oval-shaped. The track is made up of four 1⁄4-mile (400 m) turns, two 5⁄8-mile (1,000 m) straightaways, and two 1⁄8-mile (200 m) “short chutes” that connect the turns. The turns are banked at 9° 11′ and the straights are parallel. The track’s width varies from 50 ft on the straights to 60 ft on the turns .. It’s not a WIDE TRACK… you slip a little and your into the wall.. The speeds are incredible when the whizz by …!!! If you like to party they have the Snakepit in the infield with music and all kinds of craziness…they don’t seem to interested in the RACE… LOL .. Put it on your bucket list.. It’s an AMAZING TRACK … The pomp and Traditions, parades are great…You feel like you are part of HISTORY when you take it all in … the first year i was there .. Penske had the whole front row .. 36 years ago .. and Rick Mears in the YELLOW PENNZOIL CAR WON !!! Will History repeat itself in 2024 …??? Maybe next year i can attend the 600 … ?

Champagne mimosas and Eggs Benedict for breakfast tuned into Monaco, a mint julep followed by some fine sangria and tapas for the Indy 500, followed by a fine dessert wine whilst I have a little Bienenstich and watch Kyle Larson try to win at Charlotte after pulling off the Indy 500–Coke 600 double.
