Only 20 entries? That’s the lowest I can find results for going back to 2019. Weather might be an issue and teams might just not think it’s worth it to travel that far just to be turned around. Still really concerning that even the MMTTS can’t attract a full field to such a great track.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Had considered plunking down the money to go about a month ago before the entry list was published but other logistical problems made it a no go. Is the fact that there are no hotels in Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine less than $200 a night on Memorial Day weekend a logistical problem? I’m getting too old to sleep in the car.
I’m sure they can have a quality race at that track with 20 cars. Maybe less cautions. How about a green to checker with none.
I’m not sure when they stopped but SMART in the south no longer posts their entry list prior to the races. You can click on entry list at their website but nothing happens. Kudos to Monaco Tri-Track for putting it out even though it might be their smallest one ever.

  3. Marshall, I would assume most early entries for series races are received long before the 7 day weather forecast comes out.(and those forecasts can change on a daily or even hourly basis). Also, if you want to be part of a touring series, but don’t want to travel 3 hours to a race you should probably stick to running at a weekly track. I don’t think teams in the most New England centric series realize how good they have it compared to other places. In other regions you can driver over 3 hours without even leaving the state.

  4. I can live with 10 rows of ground pounders roaring around Thunder Road
