the DQ was for bearing spacers, not bearings. Per rule # 20E12.5 thought no where in the rule is spacers listed. The general consenses is that they where legal in the SK but not in the SKL, per the racers I spoke with. After reading the same rule for both classes, now where does it mention the bearing spacers. After being avioded all weekend I was finally contacted Monday late afternoon not to discuse, but to be told the DQ stands. In my disusion with Tom Fox I was told that spacers where illegal but low drag seals ARE legal.
Rule 20E-12.5 reads as follows ” 20E-12.5 SPINDLES, WHEEL BEARINGS AND HUBS- Front spindles must be linked to the frame per NWMT rulebook using appoved tathers. Low dra components(oil filled hubs, oiled bearings, low friction bearings, non steel bearings, coated or polished spindles, bearings or races)will not be permitted.
    E. Oil filling of any spindles, wheel bearings or hubs is not permitted.
    You be the the judge.
