New London-Waterford Speedbowl Mini Stock division rookie Jacob Perry is setting a trend when it comes to the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.
After getting his first career Mini Stock victory at the Speedbowl in July Perry ran away in the voting for the Support Performer of the Week Award.
And this week proved no different.
After getting his second Mini Stock victory of the season Saturday at the Speedbowl, Perry once again made easy work of the competition in voting for this week’s New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.
Perry collected 175 of the 560 votes cast (31.3 percent) to win this week’s New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.
Tony Membrino Jr., the winner of the SK Light Modified features at Stafford Motor Speedway and the New London-Waterford Speedbowl over the weekend, was second in the voting with 99 votes (17.7 percent).
Each week during the 2016 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.
Perry will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.
The final voting results for this week are listed below.
