If it was closer. A long ride from Rhode Island.

  2. That drive is a cup of coffee. Buy a plane ticket. 45 minutes in the air.

  3. 🌈JD🌈 spewed, “That drive is a cup of coffee. Buy a plane ticket. 45 minutes in the air.”

“That drive is a cup of coffee.”

What does that mean? I hate coffee, coffee is disgusting. So you are saying that it is a horrible, disgusting drive to Lancaster Speedway?

“Buy a plane ticket. 45 minutes in the air.”

There is far more than time in the air. And that would be 45 minutes from what airport? With all the connecting flights and layovers, time to and from the airports, total time door-to-track can be longer than the drive. Buffalo, NY is not a hub for airlines. Atomic is from RI, so that can be a 2 hr drive to Logan, 2 hr TSA preboard, 1.5 hr flight, Uber to the track. Yep, easier to drive.

But, the Buffalo-Niagara area has plenty to offer. Clearly go see the Niagara Falls and the various sites regarding electrification and Tesla. Fascinating. Then go to the famous Anchor Bar where Buffalo wings were born. Search the area, you’ll find a few things. The drive can be quite pretty, NY is appealing. If you take I-88 you can go to the baseball hall of fame and Howe’s Caverns. Make a trip out of it.
