Zack Robinson Wins New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award

Consecutive victories on the track led Zack Robinson to winning of another sort this week.

Robinson, of Putnam, scored his second consecutive DARE Stock feature victory Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Robinson followed up by earning this week’s New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.

Robinson earned 296 of the 720 votes cast (41.1 percent) in the balloting for this week’s winner. Robinson finished second in the voting for the award last week.

George Nocera Jr. of Plainville, who scored his first career SK Light Modified victory Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway, was second in the voting with 186 votes (25.8 percent).

Each week during the 2017 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at the state’s short track venues.

Robinson will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.
