Bio: Ryan ran Quarter Midgets from age 7-11 and qualified for every National, in the process compiling more than 150 weekly wins at Silver City Speedway. Also registered two Turkey Derby victories. Also ran Go Karts, Micros and Midgets from ages 12-14. Had six top-fives in a Modified at Mountain Speedway at 14 years old. Earned two poles, a heat win and two top-10s in four Race of Champions Tour starts at age 15.
Made 14 starts and finished 19th in the season standings during his rookie season on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2007. In 2008 had four top-five’s and seven top-10’s in 16 starts and finished 10th in points in 2008. Earned a pole in the Spring Sizzler at Stafford and won the pole and the feature at the Made In American Whelen 300 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
Had back-to-back wins at Riverhead (N.Y) Raceway and Stafford Speedway in 2010 and also had a pole at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the way to a second place finish in the standings in 2009. Had eight top-10’s in 14 races and was sixth in the standings in 2010.
Raced for four different Whelen Modified Tour organizations, starting 10 of 16 events in 2011. Also won the SK Modified division championship at Stafford and was ranked seventh nationally in the Whelen All-American Series short track standings.
Ran his first full-time season with Flamingo Motorsports on the Whelen Modified Tour in 2012, finishing second in the standings with victories at Rivehead and Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. Also
recorded a career high six poles and led a series high 687 laps. Also won SK Modified division championship at Thompson International Speedway in 2012.
Named as one of the members of the prestigious NASCARNext Program in June 2013. Made his Nationwide Series debut driving for Tommy Baldwin Racing in July 2013 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Won four NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events during the 2013 season on the way to his first series championship.
