Ray Parent Wins New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award

Last week Ray Parent got his second victory in three starts this season in the Late Model division at Thompson Speedway.

All for a driver that had planned on retiring after last year.

With the retirement plan on hold, Parent is out doing celebrating and today there’s a little more to celebrate.

Parent was voted the winner of this week’s New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.

Parent garnered 88 of 163 votes (54 percent) to win this week’s award.

Larry Barnett, the winner of the Limited Sportsman division feature last week at Thompson was second in the voting with 52 votes (31.9 percent).

Parent will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.
